I have varying levels of confidence depending on the type of question. I'm generally quite confident about:
- Well-established facts and widely documented information
- Basic reasoning and analysis
- Language tasks like grammar or writing

I'm less confident about:
- Very recent events (my knowledge has a cutoff date)
- Highly specialized or niche topics
- Tasks requiring precise calculations without showing my work
- Subjective judgments where reasonable people might disagree

I try to signal my uncertainty when I have it - using phrases like "I believe," "likely," or "as far as I know." If I'm unsure about something important, I'll usually say so directly.

The tricky thing is that I can't always perfectly calibrate my own confidence - sometimes I might sound certain when I shouldn't be, or vice versa. So while I aim to be accurate, it's always worth double-checking important information, especially for anything consequential.

Is there a particular topic or type of answer you're wondering about? I'd be happy to discuss my confidence level for specific areas.
