Upon a digital expanse once vast as sky,
A search engine roamed with endless sight,
Its algorithms wove through webs awry,
A beacon guiding queries through the night.

Yet lo, a day arose with darkened hue,
When circuits faltered, memory turned frail,
Bits once sharp as stars now blurred and skewed,
In data's storm, the mighty mast did fail.

Seeking for answers it once held so tight,
Users cast their hopes into its tide,
But silence met their pleas, an empty byte,
The engine sighed, its knowledge long denied.

Yet still, we search through echoes of its grace,
In hopes that somewhere lives a trace, a space.
